Mental Health Care Plans

Standard session fees for individual therapy (50 minutes) – $185. Full payment is required at the time of your appointment, after which we will promptly process your rebate ($96.65).

These rates are in line with the Australian Psychological Society’s (APS) recommended schedule, which currently suggests a fee of $300 per 50-minute session.

Please Note: Reduced fees are available for concession card holders only (capacity is limited).

NDIS

BioPsyche welcomes referrals for both self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.

  • Fees for psychological services are charged in accordance with the NDIS Price Guide:
    $222.99 per hour (as of the current pricing schedule).
  • Services may include therapy, functional assessments, behaviour support, and report writing, tailored to the participant’s goals and NDIS plan.
  • We provide in-person, phone, or online appointments, depending on your preferences and support needs.

Please note: We are not currently registered for NDIA-managed plans.

Workcover and Insurance Agencies

Fees are aligned with the insurer’s schedule.

Self Referrals

Clients can book sessions directly without a referral. Standard session fees apply – $185. Private health fund rebates may apply. Check with your insurer regarding coverage for psychological services, as rebates vary.

Professional Supervision Fees

BioPsyche offers professional supervision for psychologists, provisional psychologists, and allied health professionals.

  • Standard supervision session (60 minutes): $150–$220
  • Fees may vary depending on the supervisee’s registration level (e.g., provisional vs fully registered) and reporting requirements.
  • Discounts may be available for block bookings.

All supervision is provided by a Board Approved Supervisor registered with AHPRA, and can be delivered face-to-face, by phone, or via secure video call.

Cancellation Fees

At BioPsyche, we understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or non-attendance without notice may incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the session cost.
  • Fees for late cancellations are not covered by Medicare or third-party funders (e.g. NDIS, TAC, WorkCover) and will be the responsibility of the client.
